Crafted from Fukusaki washi paper,

■ Highlights

*We created this one-of-a-kind piece using “Fukusaki Washi,” an ethical type of washi paper made in Fukushima Prefecture from the bark of fruit trees (pruned branches).

※“Ethical” is a general term for products and services that take into consideration people, society, local communities, and the global environment.

※For this piece, “NASHI,” we used yellow washi paper made from “Fukusaki Washi” that incorporates real pear tree bark (pruned branches). The pear tree bark (fibrous material) gives each pear-shaped accessory a unique character.

*Combining our affection for Fukushima Prefecture with our desire to make full use of pruned branches from fruit trees, we have created an ethical piece with a profound story.

*Since each piece is handmade, every item differs from the product images, making each one a “one-of-a-kind pear accessory.”
